Braves Gamble On Glaus

Atlanta has signed Troy Glaus to a one-year deal to serve as their first baseman for 2010. This is a risky move for the Braves, given Glaus’ poor injury history and lack of experience at first base. However, they decided to gamble on him in an effort to find a power hitter for the middle of their lineup.
