Mets SP Oliver Perez threw 4 no-hit innings in today’s Spring Training win over the Tigers. “Every game is different,” Perez said. “Sometimes you have good stuff and they hit it. Today, I feel better than the first time out. I felt a little more focused. I felt good.”
Analysis:
Anyone that has owned Perez knows of his inconsistency; until he demonstrates better consistency he is nothing more than an NL-only sleeper.
