Hoffman Chooses Milwaukee

The AP reports that Trevor Hoffman has chosen Milwaukee over the Dodgers and signed a one-year deal with the Brewers.
Hoffman would have liked to stay on the West Coast but no team there was offering him a chance to close. Hoffman is no longer a top closer but he still gets the job done most of the time and is a good one-year solution for the Brewers. Miller Park will not be as forgiving Petco, so you can expect his ERA to rise. Assuming that he signs, you can pencil him in for 30-35 saves.
