Mets Reported To Sign Bay

WFAN in New York is reporting that the Mets have agreed to a contract with Jason Bay.  The deal is for four years and worth about $65 million.  Bay is supposed to take a physical this weekend before finalizing the deal early next week.  This isn’t a great spot for Bay to sign, since Citi Field has proven to be a pitcher’s park so far.  On the plus side, he will be surrounded by several talented offensive players in New York.
