J.D. Drew has said that he will consider retiring after the 2011 season. He has had many injuries in his career and would be 38 in 2012. He would spend more time with his family.
Analysis:
The interview with Drew suggests that he was just thinking out loud, knowing that there won’t be a lucrative market for an injury prone older player. He’s not a keeper league option anyways but he is a fine depth player in deep mixed leagues.
