Reyes Running At Full Speed

02/02/2010 11:18 AM -

After missing most of the 2009 season with persistent leg injuries resulting from scar tissue around the hamstring tendon, New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes is ready and raring to go for 2010.  Reyes, who appeared in only 36 games last season, showed off the progress he’s made in regaining his health on Monday, running sprints at a Long Island athletic training facility and pronouncing himself ready for spring training.  Reyes will be a risk this season since most of his value will come from stolen bases and hamstring injuries tend to be recurring.  He will more than likely fall to the second or third round in drafts this season, however, he will still be one of the top-five shortstops drafted in 2010.
